A Bandai Namco anunciou um novo jogo para a série de RPG conhecida como Super Robot Wars. Intitulado Super Robot Wars X, o game sairá para PlayStation 4 e PS Vita em 29 de março no Japão e 26 de abril no sudeste asiático (Cingapura, Malásia, Tailândia, Filipinas e Indonésia) com dublagem em japonês e legendas em inglês. A franquia é conhecida por possuir uma história que mistura diversos personagens e mechas (robôs) de diversos animes, mangás e jogos, permitindo que personagens e mechas de diferentes títulos se tornem aliados ou combatam entre si.
